John C. DeMoss, CFA

John DeMoss's wealth management experience includes managing specialized strategic investments for prominent Chattanooga investors, as well as running a number of pension and other institutional portfolios.
Building upon a highly successful record, developing proprietary investment models, and advising many individual investors and businesses, John launched DeMoss Capital in early 2008 to provide wealth management services to high net worth individuals.
John's business financial planning experience includes consulting for a proprietary trust office for a local Chattanooga bank, real estate consulting, and advising companies including building contractors, restaurants, mezzanine and venture capital funds, and many more.

DeMoss Capital, Inc. welcomes Lee Glover to the DeMoss Capital team as a Private Client Advisor. Mr. Glover has over 17 years of experience as wealth management professional, working for various investment banking institutions, most recently Raymond James, Inc.

He has demonstrated a track record of exceptional customer service to his clients over the years. He will be a very valuable member of our team”, said DeMoss Capital President, John DeMoss.

Mr. Glover graduated from the Stetson School of Business at Mercer University in Macon, GA. He and his wife Julia live in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, with their son and daughter. They are members of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Travis Flenniken, CFA

Travis’s previous roles were with a boutique investment bank and a business valuation firm, serving as an advisor to business owners in merger & acquisition transactions. Travis was also responsible for services and consultation related to business valuations in connection with fairness opinions, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), tax planning, litigation matters, and more.

Prior to his role in business valuation and investment banking, Travis served as a small business loan fund manager and an equity analyst for an investment company which made debt and equity investments in small businesses. Travis began his career as an analyst in the Trust Department of a regional bank providing investment consultation and financial plans for individuals and estates.

Travis has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2001, he earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is member of the CFA Institute. He and his wife Amber live on Signal Mountain with their two sons. They are members of Northshore Fellowship Church.

Kay Hughes, CFP®

Kay has over eight years experience in management and was instrumental in the start up of a successful RIA firm, which grew during her time at that firm to over $300 million in assets under management. Prior to joining DeMoss Capital, Mrs. Hughes worked for a registered investment advisory firm in Memphis, Tennessee, where she worked in Client Services.

 Kay has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an M.B.A. from the University of Memphis. She is a Certified Financial PlannerTM  professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association.

John has managed a small business accounting and bookkeeping firm since 1995.  He currently serves as President of DeMoss Accounting, which is a practice of Joseph Decosimo and Company. A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, John received his CPA license in 1989.

Andy Perez

Andy most recently served as President of Basenine, a technology incubator. He served at Microsoft and the Boeing Company as Entrepreneur in residence.  Andy was Managing Partner of Hosford Ventures, which holds the majority ownership in DTG. Andy has extensive business experience, having successfully launched a Health Maintenance Organization in Costa Rica that was recently sold for 33 times its initial capitalization. Andy earned his B.A. in Political Science from Westmont College. He has completed graduate work at the Central American Institute of Business Administration – INCA E.C.R, an institute sponsored by and allied with the Harvard Business School. Andy has 15 years of successful experience in venture capital, start-ups, and turn-around situations in fields ranging from the food industry to aerospace. He has served on the due diligence committee of the Keiretsu Forum and been a managing partner of Venture Velocity and the Investment Forum in Seattle.
